Ali-Sadr Cave, one of the natural wonders of the world and a rare example of navigable water caves, is located in Ali Sadr village, Kabudrahang County, 75 kilometers the northwest of Hamedan Province. The Ali Sadr Cave was created in Sari Qayah (yellow rock) Height.
The aquarium cave is inspired by Ali Sadr Cave and was built in 2011 by a group of Iranian and foreign engineers. Their purpose was to create a recreational place to attract more and more visitors and tourists and provide an environment for research and educational improvements. It holds a collection of aquatic animals including various fish, stingray, starfish, etc. as well as reptiles collected from all around the world. No need to mention that it’s the biggest artificial cave in the whole country.
Geologically the dolomitic rocks (dolostone) of the west side of Kūh-e Dārangūl (Angoul Mountain) moving along fault lines during earthquakes opened the space that created the cave. It dates back to The Triassic (the first and shortest period of the Mesozoic Era) which is almost 251.902 (+/- 0.024) million years ago. One of its spectacular features is the freezing weather inside which is caused by the always existing ice and icicles on the walls that is the reason it is named ice cave.
Abbas Abad Caves which has 180 meters long, decorated with a large hall. The cave leads to numerous cliffs, wells andnarrow halls. According to evidence, these two caves have long been considered safe havens for human beings in the distant past and have been lived human in it before.
The Sefidab Cave is named of the village which is located at 4 kilometers from the White Village. This cave is located in the heart of White Springs Mountain, at an altitude of 2400 meters above sea level. The opening of the cave is two meters high and three meters wide, while the entrance to the cave is a hole about one meter in diameter and a well four meters deep.
The cave in which the objects and historical tools had discovered, the geologists assume that they belong to the third era of geology. The cave’s intrance is faced to the southeast. Its height is about 8 meters and its width is about 9 meters and has a semi-circular style.
