Architecture of Tomb of Habakkuk

This building is a cylindrical building with 8 sides belonging to the Seljuq dynasty. The main tomb is located in the basement, which was discovered in 1993 after digging a pit by antiquities smugglers. It is said that in this excavation and observation of the body of the Prophet, his body was healthy and his skin was palpable.

This brick tower is about 12 meters in height and has a conical dome. There are matchless brick and tile works in Star of David's pattern on the façade of the building. During the excavations, there is an ancient tomb with a square nearby of the Tomb of Habakkuk, which seems to be the former building of the Tomb of Habakkuk.
