Geographical location of Mishan Plain
It is located at the base of one of the most famous mountains in Iran; Alvand Mountain, in an ancient city called Hamedan. Hamedan Province is one of the oldest provinces in the country with more than 2000 years of history. So at every corner, you can find a trace of history and rich culture. In addition to that, it has fascinating landscapes for nature-lovers to relax and enjoy a peaceful evening with friends or family members. although finding beautiful natural landscapes in our country may not be very difficult, but finding such pristine landscapes, with dreamy and heavenly plains at the foot of the Alvand Mountains is not easy at all!
Mishan plain or Mishan Square is an area of one hectare and at an altitude of 2600 meters above sea level. To go there, you must be patient since you have an intermediate climb ahead of you. Do not forget to bring your climbing equipment as may be needed. If you are not much of a climber, you can use the cable car to reach your destination and add more excitement to your journey. As you begin your journey to the summit of Alvand and the Mishan Plain, the further you go, the more beautiful the view behind you, and the wider the field of view. Along the way, with just a glance at the scenery behind you, you will forget your tiredness much faster than you thought and your desire to reach Mishan Plain will increase more and more.

Sometimes climbing can be exhausting and might take a lot of energy. But don’t worry, there are two shelters at the top of Mishan where you can rest and enjoy a hot cup of tea to gain your energy again. The first shelter has a balcony that on cloudy days, you can stand at the tip of it and relish the ocean of clouds in front of your eyes.
The best seasons to visit Mishan are definitely spring and summer for the pleasant weather in the highlands. But, as you might agree, nothing can compare to the beauty of nature in autumn. The different colors of trees create eye-catching heaven. If you like being with the crowd, travel to Mishan on the weekends. When you get there, be sure to lie on the green meadows next to small yellow flowers and stare at the clear blue sky while listening to the sound of flowing water. stay as much as you can to relax and get rid of the worries of everyday life.
After an exciting climb, it is better to spend some time to see the historical monuments; Of course, you have to travel almost a long distance with your car because they’re located at the end of the road. There you can see the inscriptions of Ganjnameh, which are two surviving inscriptions from the Achaemenid era. Near Ganjnameh Complex, there is a beautiful view of Ganjnameh waterfall and the lush valleys of Abbasabad. In the complex, you can also see Ganjnameh Aquarium Cave, which is the largest artificial cave in Iran.
