Geographical location of Qazvin Railway Station
It is located in Rah Ahan Street, south side of the Qazvin city, Qazvin Province, Iran. It is the last place inside the city texture so a little farther is all farmlands.
History and culture of Qazvin Railway Station
Iran’s very first railway station was opened in 1848 between Rasht and Bandar Anzali, but Qazvin's railway line was constructed more than a century later on March 9, 1940, in 1566 square meter area. Dou to Qazvin's location near Tehran and in the west-north of Iran, it is one of the main transport routes of the country. Also in November 2018, the Astara-Rasht-Qazvin railway line was opened which connects and integrates the transport and information routes of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Iran.
